POSTPONED [LINK] A Special Convention, of MCEA DElegates, will be held at the AFT faciliies, 5800 Metro Drive, Suite 100, Baltimre, MD 21215 on Saturday April 18, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM forte purpose of considering he 2020 bylaw revision and electing:
1. President
2. Vice President
3 Secretary
4 Treasurer
5 Four Directors
Nominations for Officer and non officer positions can only be mde by the chapter of which the nominee is a member.The minutes of the chaptermeeting at which the member receives this approval shall be submitted to the election committee with the required nomination form. All chapter minutes submitted in support of any nomination shall comply with the following requirements:chapter minutes shall inducate that a motion to nominate a member was made, seconded and passed; a chapter may nominate any member of the MCEA to no more than two positions on the board; there must be a separate motion bythe chapter for each offcer or non-officer position for which the member is nominated.
Members who donot belong to a chapter may be nominated by an officer or member of the Board of Directors, if the board, after due inquiry, determines that it is advisable to allow such nominations.
