The Maryland Classified Employee Association is announcing a request for resume for the position of Staff Attorney. The salary for Staff Attorney is between $86,971—$115,960, commensurate with experience, and offers benefits equivalent to State of Maryland public employees.
The candidate should have experience in and knowledge of:
- The State and Federal Labor Relations Act;
- Maryland State Personnel and Pensions Code;
- Negotiating contracts, document research and drafting, and preparation for bargaining and attendance at State Labor Relations Boards;
- Unfair Labor Practice claims; and
- Preparing petitions for inclusion/exclusion in bargaining, and other legal matters for public sector employees.
