Rally Protest Cuts in Social Programs

Seniors and concerned citizens rallied at the U.S. Social Security Administration building, 6401 Security Boulevard, in Baltimore on Monday, July 25th, at 12:00p.m. to protest the attempts by some politicians to cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Some in Washington, D.C., want to balance the budget on the backs of seniors, children, and people with disabilities instead of making millionaires, billionaires, and large corporations pay their fair share of taxes.

Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid have nothing to do with the nation's budget crisis, and are not responsible for the nation's debt.

Rally participants sent a message to politicians in Maryland and in Washington, D.C., to keep their hands off these programs.

All were invited to join the rally and show support for the programs that help protect the most vulnerable in American society.
