Mrs. Valerie Patterson is a member of The "Adirondack Artists Guild" of Saranac Lake. She has shown her work in multiple venues/galleries throughout the Tri-Lakes region and all over New York State for many years. Mrs. Patterson has received first place/best in show awards for her paintings in various juried art competitions. Valerie has another solo exhibit coming up soon at the ADK Artists Guild from November 7th (opening reception 5-7pm) through December 2nd, 2014. Come check it out!

It is extremely upsetting to see the cover of the next issue of Time Magazine when it attacks an occupation that is an essential public service that directly impacts the communities that the individuals are employed in.
