We attended a meeting today and this giveaway was shared with us. We were told that the proceeds will be used to fund McNeese Scholarships… athletic and academic. Everyone in attendance was asked to share the information. We think it is a great cause and wanted you to all be aware of the opportunity.
The semester may be drawing to a close, but there’s a lot going on here with EMUFT. As we move toward summer, there are many opportunities to be involved. This email contains updates on a few key issues. 1) Negotiations Update – Earlier this week, the NTU reached out to the Newark Public Schools of our intentions to formally begin negotiations. Our contract negotiations committee is hard at work putting together all the proposals we received from the members in preparation for exchanging demands and proposals with the Newark Public schools. We will continue to keep you as informed as possible without violating the confidentiality inherent in negotiations.
