MCEA 2019 Biennial Convention Notice

1 Due to the current financial restraints and the bylaw requirements, the MCEA 2019 biennial convention will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019, in Baltimore at the MCEA Headquarters from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
2 Although there will be no registration of delegates, the Board of Directors requests each chapter designate a representative to speak on behalf of the chapter’s members.
3 The president will call the convention to order at the appropriate time.
4 The session will consist of one four-hour open forum.
5 The representatives will be asked for suggestions and asked to discuss possible plans for the future of the MCEA.
6 Representatives should submit the suggestions in writing to assist the secretary and the board in considering the information.
7 Representatives are invited to submit questions to MCEA in advance of the convention to allow time to research the MCEA governing documents and prepare responses.
8 There will be no motions or official business conducted at the session.
