It is with deep respect and heartfelt gratitude that we remember Ruth Ogle, a woman whose integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Ruth served as President of MCEA Council 1935 with strength, fairness, and determination, always advocating fiercely for the members she represented. She believed that every employee deserved to be heard, treated with dignity, and represented honestly. Her reputation for fairness and trustworthiness extended far beyond the workplace and into her distinguished service as a parole commissioner, where she earned the respect of colleagues and community members alike for her thoughtful judgment and compassionate approach.
A true trailblazer, Ruth was a business-minded woman who helped pave the way for women in industries and leadership roles where strong female voices were too often overlooked. She led not only with intelligence and professionalism, but with grace, wisdom, and courage. Ruth understood the importance of lifting others as she climbed, and she dedicated herself to mentoring those who followed behind her.
For many, Ruth was more than a leader, she was a teacher, a guide, and an inspiration. She instilled in others the belief that one person truly can make a difference. Her mentorship and example helped shape future advocates and leaders, leaving behind a legacy that will continue through the many lives she touched.
Ruth Ogle will be remembered for her strength, fairness, advocacy, and the profound respect she earned throughout her life. Her influence will not be forgotten, and her legacy of service and leadership will continue to inspire generations to come.
