Your help is requested: MD/DC AFL-CIO Labor to Labor 2024 GOTV

Message from President Donna S. Edwards.....................

Dear Leaders,

Please recruit your staff, officers and members to engage in the Maryland State and DC AFL-CIO Labor to Labor 2024 Get Out the Vote.

Your local’s full participation will be the difference in maintaining and even flipping the U.S. Senate and House for our unions and workers.

Please put this link to the Labor to Labor walks and Phone Banks on your social media alerts, newsletters, websites and emails:

https://www.mobilize.us/mddcaflcio/

Make a plan to sponsor a walk and/or a phone bank. It is easy, just call the State Fed or send an email saying you want to have a walk launch from your worksite and we will provide all the materials. You provide the volunteers.

Maryland for the first time will be a deciding factor in passing pro-worker, pro-union legislation and appropriations or going back to a time when unions were under attack with the laws on their side.

Our leadership is being tested and our commitment to steering our labor movement forward is evidenced by the energy we collectively demonstrate in a victory November 5 for our country, our democracy, and our unions.

The Maryland State and D.C. AFL-CIO is in full throttle driving the Labor to Labor 2024 program for our endorsed candidates.

President of the United States:
Kamala D. Harris - Tim Walz
U.S. Senate:
Angela Alsobrooks
U.S. House of Representatives:
District 1:   Blane H. Miller, III
